After three years and something months, I am back on DeviantArt. How I missed coming on here.

First of all, the reason for my disappearance: my digital camera, Obi, was stolen about a year and a half ago. That is the main reason for my disappearance.

No camera, no art, and no desire to create more art due to lack of basic necessity. Argh.

Of course, I could have just gone for pencilled artwork but I've always enjoyed photography and that was what I wanted to concentrate on here on DA.

So that's reason number one.

Reason number two was that I spent most of 2006 to 2007 working on my undergraduate thesis which, thankfully, allowed me to finally finish uni last year.

Which brings us to 2008 which was mostly spent setting up a business that is co-owned by myself, my boyfriend/fiance (some people are particular about it but I'm not--it's all interchangeable until the actual marriage) and two other friends.

The fabulous news (for me anyway) is this: I HAVE A NEW CAMERA. Finally.

Her name (as opposed to the "he" that was Obi) is Marie-Therese, after Marie Antoinette's daughter, to match my mobile phone, La Reine (aka Marie Antoinette).

So there we go.

I'm back and ready to put up more photos.
